Membership and Dues
Curious?
Want to learn more about San Antonio DSA before becoming a dues paying member? Check out the New Member Resources and subscribe to our newsletter list to receive regular updates from our chapter. Additionally, check out our committees! Our organizing work is primarily done through our committees. Find a committee that interests you, then go to one of their meetings. All of our upcoming events can be found on our calendar.
Ready to become a dues paying member?
Becoming a dues paying member gives you access to the San Antonio DSA Library and our Slack. Most of our chapter's discourse is on Slack. Have questions about Slack? Check out our Slack Guide. Once you become a dues paying member, forward us the confirmation email that you received when you became a member to sanantoniodsa@gmail.com, and we'll send you an invite link!
By becoming a dues paying member, you'll also be allowed to vote at our meetings. Click the button above to officially join National DSA, which will automatically make you a member of San Antonio DSA if you live in the San Antonio area.
Please note that you are able to pay dues based on your income-level with monthly Solidarity Income Based Dues. If you cannot afford to pay dues, know that DSA does not turn away anyone for lack of funds. Fill out the dues waiver form if you need to.
Annual dues are an option, but we encourage everyone to become a monthly Solidarity Dues paying member. 20% of your national monthly dues are shared with our local chapter.
